HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Halloween is the name of a festival of origin “pre-cristian” typically American and Canadian. But its ancient origins lie in the remote past of European traditions: it is done go back to 4000 BC when tribal peoples used to divide the year into two parts according to transhumance of livestock. During the period between October and November, the ground is preparing the winter and it was necessary - then as now-admit cattle instead closed to ensure the survival to cold season: is the period of Halloween. For us, that we are in Scotland can live very close to this festival. From what we have seen so far, people here are preparing looking for the most beautiful costumes and ornaments that are dark and fear; supermarkets are filled with candy and decorations including: costumes ghost and witches, brooms and wigs, tricks and cob webs fake, skeletons and lanterns, concluding with the traditional pumpkins. We, for now, we have made only two images representing the festivities, but tomorrow we will post the real images of scottish halloween.
