BERLINO, 24 DIC - Babbo Natale ha 110 anni, secondo quanto riferisce il quotidiano tedesco 'Thueringer Allgemeine'. Finora la teoria piu' accettata era che Babbo Natale fosse comparso negli anni Venti, ma una collezionista ha scoperto tra i suoi cimeli una cartolina spedita in Germania nel 1897 sulla quale lo si vede che cammina tra la neve. Dal 1931 fu usato come testimonial per la pubblicita' natalizia della Coca Cola, che lancio' l'icona in tutto il mondo.

BERLIN, 24th DEC - Santa Clause has 110 years old, according to the German newspaper 'Thueringer Allgemeine.
Until now, the theory most accepted was that Santa Claus had appeared in the Twenties, but a collector discovered a postcard sent in Germany in 1897 on which it sees that walks among the snow.
Since 1931 it was used as a testimonial for advertising the Christmas Coca Cola, which launched the icon all over the world.
