Papertotti e la vera storia del "cucchiaio"
Non avete letto male, è successo veramente e il nome e esatto. Il capitano della Roma è diventato un eroe di "Topolino". E' stato protagonista di una storia a fumetti nel numero in edicola il 16 gennaio: e Ciccio di Nonna Papera è colui che gli ha suggerito come tirare il rigore decisivo... Ma quand'è nato il "cucchiaio" di Totti? L'Europeo non c'entra, meglio dirlo subito, e neanche il campionato. Successe tanti anni prima, quando il piccolo Papertotti giocava con Paperino, Archimede e gli altri amichetti pennuti nei cortili di Paperopoli. A calcio era il più bravo, ma nei rigori un totale disastro. Finché un giorno, complice Ciccio di Nonna Papera, proprio colui che non sa far altro che combinare guai alla nonna e a mangiarsi fette grandissime delle sue favolose torte, accadde l'incredibile. Questa è la vera storia del "segreto del cucchiaio", a fumetti naturalmente, raccontata su Topolino. Papertotti si trovò coinvolto nella rissa tra Paperone e Rockerduck. Per i quali il campioncino è soltanto "roba mia!", "no mia!". "Roba" che invece si ribellerà, rifiutando qualunque contratto pur di continuare a giocare con gli amici di sempre. Ma per giocare servono dollari. Cinquecento, per la precisione, per iscriversi al torneo di Paperopoli. I piccoli paperi tentano tutti gli espedienti, dal lavare le auto a vendere "spremiagrumi mentali". Quello che guadagna di più è proprio Papertotti, pagato dai passanti per "non" raccontare neanche una delle sue improbabili barzellette. Alla fine però occorre rivolgersi a Zio Paperone, che diventerà proprietario-sponsor della squadra. Con il solito squallido obiettivo di rivendere i campioncini e far milioni. Come sempre, c'è da battere la squadra del nemico Rockerduck: nella quale giocano i piccoli Bassotti, scorretti come mai, e il fortunatissimo portiere Gastone che non prende un gol neanche a farlo apposta. La finale è tra le due squadre, equilibrata, 0-0 fino al 90'. Quando Papertotti, scatenato capocapocannoniere del torneo, si procura un rigore fischiato da un giovane arbitro Agnolin. E adesso che cosa fare? Paperino chiede a Papertotti di tentare. Lui è spaventato, ne ha sbagliati più di cento di fila. Nel mondo dei paperi arriva però l'ispirazione, vestita da ingordo (e inguaribile) Ciccio che va a bordo campo per farsi un bella coppetta di gelato e dice distratto: "Quando usi il cucchiaio non sai mai dove finiscono le palle di gelato!". E Papertotti inventò il "cucchiaio": gol!
